Beach offers filters for the ultimate in protection from oil and oil vapors, particulate removal down to 0.3 micron, and moisture to 0¡ã F dew point, depending on desiccant selection.
Unique to Beach filters is the Polyclear II Rigid Polyurethane Thermo Plastic. The Polyclear II series of filters offers the F-GGC, which is a small disposable unit, and the F-40C with mounting brackets and replaceable element. These specialty filters are ideal for instrument air and pneumatic controls. Also, in the Polyclear II filter line are the triple action T-line units (F-T20C, F-T40C& F-T60C) that clean the air with mechanical separation, coalescing of the larger particles and fine tuning with desiccant filtration. The In-line filters, which are not Polyclear II, are direct descendents of the original Beach filters from 50 years ago. These units are constructed of polyurethane coated aluminum, have 2 replaceable elements, and can be purchased with an *acrylic tube (C Models), or aluminum with sight glass tube (AW Models) for ease of inspection, or closed aluminum tube (AL Models) to suit the desired application.
The acrylic should not be used around solvents, phosphates, esters, etc. or synthetic lubricants. Beach recommends either the polyurethane units, aluminum or aluminum with sight glass housings. |

Cylform Desiccant Elements by Beach
All Beach Cylform filters are sealed with plastic caps and replacement elements are packaged two to a sealed polyethylene bag, in order to preserve a low moisture level.
 The patented and trademarked Beach Cylform desiccant elements are constructed of 100% Dacron polyester seamless tubing fabric. The end caps are 100% spunbonded polyester with a special particulate disc sewn in the top. All components are heat - set for maximum control of element dimensions and elimination of channeling and bypass of unfiltered air.

Desiccant Recommendations
No single desiccant can solve all problems. Therefore, we at Beach offer a variety of patented and trademarked elements for our compressed air and gas filters.
General Filtration
The standard desiccant will solve most filtration problems. It is a stabilized crystal that provides excellent filtration of hydrocarbons and moisture. It has the uncanny ability to adsorb oil and moisture at the same time. At full flow rate, it traps all contaminants ¡ª oil vapors, water and hydrocarbons. The filter disc in the top of the element removes particulate as small as 0.3 microns.

Moisture Removal and Minus Dew Point
In multiple element filters such as the F-T60 and all in-line models, the silica gel element should be placed at the top with a standard Cylform element at the bottom. Incorporated with a refrigerated dryer, this system results in the lowering of the dew point from 0¡ãC to -40¡ãC.
Odor and Oil Vapor Removal
If there is a need for removal of odor caused by oil vapor or other contaminants, we recommend an activated carbon fill as a secondary desiccant. This can be accomplished by using filters in tandem, or by incorporating two different elements in such filters as the Beach In-lines or the F-T60C.
Special Desiccants
Other special fills are available on request. Also, a combination of elements with different fills can be used for special applications.
